Mode of action
:
Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Also exhibits anti-feeding action.
Good residual activity on treated plants. Cypermethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid and a permethrin analogue. This group of chemicals acts primarily on the basal ganglia of the central nervous system, causing repetitive nerve action through prolongation of sodium permeability during the recovery phase of the action potential of neurons.

Temephhos is also used to control midge, gnat, punkie, and sandfly larvae in non-potable water

There are many uses for Deltamethrin, ranging from agricultural uses to home pest control.
Deltamethrin has been instrumental in preventing the spread of diseases carried by tick-infested prairie dogs, rodents and other burrowing animals. It is helpful in eliminating and preventing a wide variety of household pests, especially spiders, fleas, ticks, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, cockroaches and bedbugs.
